In Depression as a concealable stigmatized identity: what influences whether students reveal or conceal their depression in undergraduate research experiences published today in the International Journal of STEM Education, we interviewed 35 undergraduates with depression across 12 research-intensive institutions to examine what factors cause students to reveal and conceal their depression in undergraduate research.
