Katey and Maya Munstermann, PhD student at Florida State University, presented a talk entitled "Aspects of course-based undergraduate research experiences (CUREs) that improve student affective outcomes" at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
This talk reviewed three studies that examined the impact of (1) integrating broadly relevant novel discovery into CUREs, (2) allowing CURE students to analyze data they collect themselves, and (3) students contributing to a CURE publication on CURE student outcomes.
