New publication: Factors that predict student persistence in undergraduate research experiences

Katelyn recently co-taught a biology education research course-based undergraduate research experience (CURE) at Arizona State University, which resulted in a publication that was published today in PLOS ONE! https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0220186

The students in the class were all community college students who had transferred to ASU. They are all coauthors on the paper!

The study of over 750 life sciences undergraduate researchers from 25 institutions across the United States found that half of them had considered leaving research.
