Mary and Parth join the lab as undergrad researchers!

Mary Kahraman and Parth Batukbhai Bhanderi joined the lab as undergraduate researchers!

Mary will study the relationship between undergraduate depression and different biology learning environments. Mary is pursuing a B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Psychology, and will be applying her vast expertise to her interdisciplinary research! Welcome Mary!

Parth will study the experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals in academic biology specifically focusing on the impact of instructors revealing their LGBTQ+ identities in class. Parth is pursuing a double major in Biochemistry and Philosophy at ASU, and the lab is a great fit for his passion for understanding the intersection of society culture and biology. Welcome Parth!
