Master's student Tasneem Mohammed and PhD student Carly Busch presented at the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology annual conference in Phoenix, AZ.
Carly presented a talk entitled: Coming out to the class: Students benefit from an instructor revealing her LGBTQ+ identity in a large-enrollment biology course.
Tasneem presented a poster entitled: The impact of large-enrollment online college science courses on student anxiety.
She also stepped in for lab mate Nicholas Wiesenthal and presented his talk: PhDepression: Examining how graduate research and teaching affect depression in life sciences PhD students.
