Mary was featured on the School of Life Sciences Newsletter!

Mary was featured by the School of Life Sciences (SOLS) Newsletter for her paper on a proof of concept of the Hopelessness Theory of Depression in a sample of undergraduate and graduate student researchers with depression. Her work offers insight into how science researchers may encounter stressors in research, namely in how they can: internalize stressors, believing that the stressor occurs due to their own inherent characteristics, stabilize stressors, believing that the stressor will always occur, or globalize stressors and apply the stressor to many different aspects of their life.
