Katey leads workshop at University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Katey was invited by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellows for Inclusive Excellence team in the Biology Department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst to visit virtually and lead a workshop: "Creating more inclusive academic science environments for students with different identities."

Faculty, staff, and graduates students engaged in identifying ways to create more inclusive academic science environments for LGBTQ+ students, students with disabilities, and students with anxiety and depression.
