Dr. Shirley Malcom visits the RISE Center

This week we were honored to host Dr. Shirley Malcom at ASU. Dr. Malcom transformed the field of biology education through efforts like developing Vision and Change and championing the inclusion of Broader Impacts within the NSF merit review criteria.

Members of the Research for Inclusive STEM Education Center had the privilege meeting with Dr. Malcom to learn from her decades of experience creating a more robust and inclusive science community. It was a day we will never forget.
