ASU News recognizes Katey's work on inclusive biology education

Katey was recognized by ASU News for her collaboration on revisiting the Animal Behavior course curriculum to include diverse perspectives on sex and gender in nature. The updated curriculum fostered a greater sense of belonging for LGBTQ+ students in biology classes, reduced biases about sex and gender, and promoted inclusivity without excluding other students.
